The Louvre, the most popular museum of the world, stays surely in the top of your list: innumerable masters and artistic treasures from all ages, like the Mona Lisa or the Venus of Milo… The Louvre is also the largest museum in the world: as a day is not enough to visit it entirely, it actually owes a visit during each of your trips in Paris! But many other museums in Paris are at least a visit worth: the Musée d’Orsay, with the most important collection of impressionist and post-impressionist pictures in the world, the Centre Pompidou dedicated to modern art, the Picasso Museum, the Rodin Museum, the Delacroix Museum, and many more! As diversion to demanding visits, have a walk on the banks of the Seine river which flows through the heart of Paris. Following your inspiration, go from one bank to another across one of the numerous charming bridges, and discover one of the beautiful districts which border the river: the old Marais area, or the Left Bank with the Latin Quarter, Saint Germain-des-Prés and farther the Tour Eiffel Shopping addicted will find in Paris a wide range of interesting sites: from the big and historical department stores at the Boulevard Haussmann to the luxury boutiques of the Faubourg St Honoré and the Champs Elysées area, from the shopping district Les Halles to the colourful storehouses of the Parisian Chinatown, with also its numerous typical markets Paris will satisfy all tastes and pockets. Sights, museums, theatres, events, nightlife, shopping… Paris offers a great variety of sceneries which are waiting for you… An unforgettable experience for sure!
